Currently, the media group is made by three people, but the it is still not finally formed. A first voice-over-ip conference to launch the media group is supposed to take place in October 2013.

Topics of the first voice-over-ip conference:

  • discuss media strategy + first concrete activities + develop own milestones
  • share media contacts
  • discuss if/how to do "daily media work" for the project

The media group is an official contact for journalists who want to come in touch with the Atomic Threats In The Baltic Sea Region project - for interviews, background information or to connect the media to activists and groups willing to be contacted. We also will write some media releases, particularly on important milestones of the project, and we will support other activists of this network/project in their media work as far as we have capacities.
