  • big demonstration against nuclear waste transports to Ahaus on December 20th, 2009 in Ahaus
  • some 300 containers of high level nuclear waste are supposed to be shipped to the temporary repository in Ahaus during the next months
  • half of them will probably come from the nuclear research facility in Jülich, the other 150 containers will probably be brought from the reprocessing unit in La Hague (France)
  • activists also plan several other actions: e.g. protest pickets during the next days
