"The primary tasks of The Department of The Waste Management Plant, WMP, is to collect, receive, treat and store the Danish radioactive waste. In addition, the department operates two laboratories, a local sewage works and a laundry. The department is also responsible for the four waste storages. The WMP plays an important role in preparing for a final repository for radioactive waste. The WMP participates in the decommissioning projects primarily by handling the waste The WMP is lead by an engineer and employs app. 17 people of varous professional backgrounds: Engineers, technicians, computer programmer, work men and laundry assistants."[1]
