updates from projects and working groups

  • media group:
    • The media group is preparing a new media release on 24th of February.
    • The next media release of the Nuclear Heritage Network is real soon published.
  • networking:
    • The website nirgendwo.info is searching for help with translations in english. Volunteers are welcomed.
    • A guy from an anti nuclear group in St. Petersburg will sents news updates to the list.
    • Participiant B. did updates about protests from Russia on the website. There is an upcoming information event about nuclear politics in St. Petersburg planned by Greenpeace. Participiant B. met some activists in St. Petersburg and with a bit luck somebody is designing a new logo for the Nuclear Heritage Network.
    • In Germany there is an anti-nuclear exhibition from Finland planned this year.
  • finances group:

The finance group consists of one person at the moment. With a little bit luck in the next weeks, somebody from Finland will join the finance group.

The coordination group consists at the moment only of one person.

A person from finland is thinking about writing articles for the book project.

Other updates:

  • Participiant B. spoke with H. about the upcoming anti nuclear protest camp in August 2014 near Kiel in Germany. He spoke about the nuclear heritage network

gathering, which could be held there before the week of the anti nuclear protest camp. It would be a good idea to held a lecture there, e.g. about nuclear waste proposals.

The next project meeting via skype is taking place on Sunday, February 16th 2014, at 8 PM CET.
