On January 24, 2009, a big demonstration with some 300 to 500 people took place in Oulu in North Finland. It was against the new Uranium mines planned by [[Areva]] and against the planned new [[Nuclear Power Plants]] [[Fennovoima]] (including the German [[EON]] company) wants to build in Finland. For Finland and especially for the North this demonstration was a really big one.

On January 24, 2009, a big demonstration with some 300 to 500 people took place in Oulu in North Finland. It was against the new Uranium mines planned by Areva and against the planned new Nuclear Power Plants Fennovoima (including the German EON company) wants to build in Finland. For Finland and especially for the North this demonstration was a really big one.
