- transport of high level and other radioactive waste to the temporary repository in Ahaus (D), partly in CASTOR-like containers, including nuclear materials from several German nuclear facilities

- first transports were announced for the beginning of 2010, but by May 2010 they did not occur; the transports of about 150 containers similar to the CASTOR containers are supposed to start in 2011
